I build systems that work, from Rust-powered backend services to accurate tax returns. Equally at home in a terminal or across a table with a character sheet.
I'm a self-taught developer based in Woodland, Washington with a background that spans software engineering, professional tax preparation, and manufacturing quality control. A jack of all trades that enjoys building and problem solving
My primary language is Rust, which I use to build personal automation tools, web applications, and desktop software. I'm drawn to systems that are reliable, well-structured, and built to last, a value I attempt to impart in the work that I do.
I'm currently enrolled at Washington State University pursuing a B.S. in Accounting, adding formal financial credentials to pair with my technical background. My goal is to build at the intersection of software and finance.
Outside of work and study, I run tabletop RPG campaigns, and I am in the midst of designing my own setting and rule system, and my foray into programming started with the software tools to support them, because the best way to learn a system is to build something you actually want to use.
Whether you have a role in mind, a project to discuss, or just want to talk Rust, tabletop RPGs, or tax law, I'm always open to a conversation.
